BURKE COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Burke County investigators recently made a significant drug bust in the area, seizing about 3 kilograms of methamphetamine following a tip.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday, March 21, they were alerted to the arrival of the drugs, believed to be headed for distribution within the community.
The shipment was traced to a location on Flat Gap Road, where investigators worked to intercept it. Authorities are working to track down those involved in the operation.
The investigation remains open and ongoing.
