A tragic incident occurred at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Southern California, resulting in the loss of 9-year-old Brooke Carlton’s life. According to authorities, Brooke was riding an electric motorbike on a designated track for off-road vehicles at the park around 10 a.m. on Sunday when she was struck by another juvenile riding an off-road motorbike.
The collision proved fatal, and despite efforts to save her, Brooke was pronounced deceased after being transported to a local hospital. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the accident. While details surrounding the incident are still under review, the sheriff’s office has not provided further information at this time. In response to the tragedy, the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park expressed deep regret and sorrow over the accident in a post on Instagram.
They emphasized that the incident was a “freak accident” and called for unity and support within the community during this difficult time. The park also announced plans to organize a “tribute ride” in Brooke’s memory. At the time of the collision, Brooke was found unconscious, and bystanders at the scene were administering life-saving measures. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Brooke succumbed to her injuries. The other juvenile involved in the incident sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.
