Brixton Stabbing: Law enforcement agencies are investigating a stabbing incident in Brixton Tuesday evening. According to reports, an individual has been stabbed multiple times in the area of Coldharbour Lane. The incident happened at approximately 5 P.M., October 3, 2023. Following the incident, there currently is a major police presence on Coldharbour Lane in Brixton between Valentia Place and the intersection of Gresham Road and Moorland Road, thus the area is temporarily closed.
The victim died at the site at 5:30 p.m.; a tent has been set up over their body. Currently, bus service is paused as multiple ambulances have arrived and paramedics have been observed working behind a cordoned-off area in the middle of the road. This is a developing story.
At 12:08 p.m. on Monday, September 4, police were called to Morrison Road, SW9 on claims that a man had been stabbed there. A man was located by police and the London Ambulance Service with multiple stab wounds. Officers and medics tried their best, but the victim was tragically pronounced dead at the sitePolice have identified him as Ronaldo Scott, a 21-year-old male. Specialist family liaison officers have continued to provide assistance to Ronaldo’s family. Kate Blackburn, the inquiry’s lead detective chief inspector, said, “We are in the early stages of our investigation and have a number of lines of inquiry we are undertaking, including extensive CCTV collection in the local area.” Ronaldo was well-liked and well-known, thus his passing will be mourned by many. My prayers are with Ronaldo’s loved ones at this time.
A Section 60 Order has been issued for the London borough of Lambeth as a result of the murder. This order is in effect until September 6 at 13:00 hours and gives police expanded stop-and-search authority. Another young guy has lost his life to knife crime, and my sympathies are with Ronaldo’s family, friends, and our local community,” said Detective Chief Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh, the Borough Commander for Lambeth.
