Brinda peacefully departed this world at her home on Friday, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. As we come together to honor her memory, we reflect on the profound impact she made as a cherished member of the Fort Worth CERT family.
Brinda’s presence within Fort Worth CERT was truly invaluable. Her infectious smile had the power to brighten even the darkest of days, and her quick wit and legendary sense of humor never failed to bring joy to those around her. She was more than just a colleague; she was a friend, a confidante, and a pillar of strength within our community.
Before joining Fort Worth CERT, Brinda dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving others as a nurse. Her passion for caregiving extended far beyond the walls of the hospital, as she selflessly devoted herself to the well-being of those in need. Brinda’s compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to helping others made her a true beacon of light in the lives of many.
Brinda’s love for her community knew no bounds. She was actively involved in both Fort Worth and White Settlement, two cities that held a special place in her heart. Whether it was volunteering at local events, lending a helping hand to those in need, or simply spreading kindness wherever she went, Brinda embodied the true spirit of altruism and generosity.
As we mourn the loss of Brinda Rhodes, we take comfort in the countless memories we shared with her and the profound impact she had on our lives. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the hearts she uplifted. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to inspire us to be kinder, more compassionate individuals.
A visitation to celebrate Brinda’s life will be held tomorrow evening, May 30th, from 5-8pm at Greenwood Funeral Home, located at 3344 White Settlement Rd. in Fort Worth. We invite all who knew and loved Brinda to join us as we pay tribute to her remarkable life and legacy.
