Brian White,Quinell Shelton Obituary, Death; – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified the three individuals who lost their lives in a tragic car accident in Castaic earlier this week. The deceased have been named as Brian White, aged 22; Quinell Shelton, a 15-year-old boy; and Nylah Blanchard, a 16-year-old girl. Unfortunately, the cities where the teenagers resided remain unknown.
The driver involved in the incident has been identified as Taylor Roberson, 19, from Redlands. Roberson sustained major injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital. Moreover, Roberson has been taken into custody, pending potential charges, as reported by the CHP.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene on The Old Road around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the CHP, a silver 2010 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on The Old Road, south of Parker Road in Castaic at a high speed when it failed to navigate a curve in the road.
The vehicle veered off the road, collided with a tree, split in half, and ejected passengers No.1, No.2, and No.3. Subsequently, the car struck a light pole and caught fire. While the driver managed to escape, the three passengers were tragically pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
