The fire, which engulfed their home on Craig Rd, Donvale early on Saturday morning, was extinguished within 45 minutes.

Calvin’s brother, Mark Reeder, described him as a devoted father with a kind heart who always put his son first. Neighbour Chris McCartin mentioned that Brendon, who was autistic and non-verbal, was being raised well by his father.
The fire spread rapidly, causing intense flames that were difficult to contain. Family members revealed that the backyard contained various items such as gas canisters, a ride-on mower, and a quad bike, which may have contributed to the fire’s intensity.
