Braxton McComas Obituary – The funeral service for a teenager who passed away in a car accident last week will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
Braxton McComas, a 17-year-old student at Cabell Midland High School, tragically lost his life while driving in Barboursville on July 4th after being struck by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
One of the passengers in McComas’ car sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The driver of the second vehicle, Joshua Wilson, remains hospitalized, as confirmed by Barboursville Police Chief Darren McNeil. Wilson is facing charges of DUI causing death in connection with the accident. According to the obituary, McComas’ funeral will be held at 1 p.m. in Huntington.
