Brandy Nicole Olson Obituary, Death; – A woman from Lumberton was fatally shot inside a Walmart bank on Friday while she was in line, according to police reports released on Saturday. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Brandy Nicole Olson.
Authorities have not yet revealed the identities of the suspects but indicated that they were “targeting” two individuals who were also present in the Woodforest Bank branch at the time of the incident. Officers arrived at the scene at 3:45 p.m. and discovered the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Olson was transported to UNC Health Southeastern, where she subsequently succumbed to her injuries. Law enforcement officials reported that the assailants fled the store and exited the vicinity.
