Bill B Williams Obituary, Death; – A fatal incident occurred on Sunday in Pike County, resulting in one death and three injuries due to a collision involving two vehicles.
According to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Bill B. Williams, 54, from Brundidge, was pronounced dead at the scene on U.S. 231, approximately one mile north of Brundidge.
Williams was operating a 2009 Hyundai Genesis when he collided with the rear of a 1997 Toyota 4Runner, which was being driven by Colin E. Vaughan, 48, from Troy, as reported by state troopers.
The accident transpired just before 2 p.m. on Sunday. It was noted by Lt. Jeremy J. Burkett in the news release that Williams was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his vehicle during the crash.
Vaughan was subsequently taken to Troy Regional Medical Center for medical attention, and it was also reported that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Additionally, Michelle L. Ennis, 50, from Troy, and Angel D. Buckreis, 51, from Ariton, were passengers in the 4Runner and were both transported to hospitals for treatment, according to the troopers.
