Beth Wittenberg Obituary, Death; – An investigation is currently underway regarding a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, which resulted in the death of a woman from New Hampshire.
The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. on I-84 westbound near Exit 5. According to the Massachusetts State Police, officers who arrived at the scene discovered a vehicle that had rotated 180 degrees and was positioned in the center travel lane.
Authorities reported that the driver’s body was not located within the passenger compartment. The victim has been identified as 59-year-old Beth Wittenberg from Rochester, New Hampshire.
The highway was closed for approximately three hours to facilitate the work of Crime Scene Services and investigators from the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Sections.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
