Bernardo Antonio Hernandez Ortiz Obituary – The Palm Beach Sherrif’s Office has officially identified the pedestrian who tragically lost his life in a collision in Greenacres on Sunday, May 5th. According to PBSO, the pedestrian in question was Bernardo Antonio Hernandez Ortiz, a 36-year-old individual. Ortiz was attempting to cross the median on Lake Worth Road, right in front of the Greenacres Bowling Alley, when he unexpectedly stepped in front of a Honda CRV.
As a result of the collision, Ortiz was forcefully propelled onto the roadway. Fortunately, the Honda managed to come to a controlled stop shortly after the incident, preventing any further harm. Regrettably, Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene by Greenacre Fire Rescue. It has been reported that he was under the influence of substances at the time of the crash.
