Becky and Josh Mann Murder – In a heartbreaking incident that has deeply affected the Gilman, Wisconsin community, Rebecca L. “Becky” Mann, 43, and Joshua R. “Josh” Mann, 44, were found deceased in their home on April 9, 2025. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that their deaths were the result of a homicide perpetrated by 15-year-old Kadyn Hadden, who later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Price County.
Becky and Josh were known for their unwavering commitment to family, faith, and community. Becky, a Medford native, was a dedicated mother and active community member, working as a bank teller, managing Vault Village in Gilman, and contributing to the local library and feed store. Josh, originally from Wausau, was a hardworking individual who ran his own log trucking business, farmed, and served on multiple fire departments. He was also recently elected to the Gilman School Board.
Together, they raised four children and were deeply involved in their community, often attending local events and supporting their children’s activities. Their faith was a cornerstone of their lives, guiding their actions and relationships.
The tragic loss of Becky and Josh has left a void in the community. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Medford, with visitation on Friday, April 18, from 4 to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to support their children.
