Beaulah Robinson,Michelle Joiner Obituary, Death;- A community fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday to assist the grieving family of four residents from Marshallville who tragically lost their lives last week in Perry, as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths of three women and a toddler.
The victims, who represent four generations, include 82-year-old Beaulah Robinson, her 51-year-old daughter Michelle Joiner, her 37-year-old granddaughter Tuquondrea Robinson, and 2-year-old A’Layah Joiner. They were discovered deceased during a wellness check on Friday at their residence in Westwood Trailer Park, Perry. Autopsy results indicated that three of the victims died from stab wounds, while one succumbed to suffocation.
Event organizer Latonya Bryant shared details about the fundraiser, stating, “We will have car washes — $10 for cars, $15 for trucks and vans — along with fish plates, barbecue plates, cakes, pies, and cookies. We will offer a variety of items for sale.” Relatives spoke to 13WMAZ about the enduring legacy of the victims.
“My aunt and cousin were incredibly generous; they would give the shirt off their backs. They loved us dearly, and all we ask for now is prayers,” said Janet Johnson. Johnson expressed that the loss has created a “void in our heart.” Family members informed 13WMAZ that the four had moved to Perry just over a month ago, while the majority of their relatives remain in Macon County.
“We may not fully understand their pain, but we certainly feel it,” Bryant remarked. “When they hurt, we all hurt.” The fundraiser will commence at 9 a.m. on Saturday along Main Street, with all proceeds going to support the family. Bryant mentioned that they are still seeking volunteers for the event.
“Anyone who wishes to help is welcome to join us in downtown Marshallville at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning,” Bryant encouraged. “We would greatly appreciate any assistance.” Additionally, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to cover funeral expenses for A’Layah.
Perry police have identified a person of interest who had a prior relationship with one of the victims, but no charges have been filed as of yet. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
