Ukraine’s counteroffensive has seen “successes” in the south and east of the country, according to a government minister. Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said on Telegram that “there are certain successes, in particular in the Novodanilivka-Novoprokopivka direction”, which is in the south. Maliar claimed similar advances had been made in the Bakhmut area in eastern Ukraine, a hotspot in the conflict.
