30-year-old Kayla Marie Russell of Greasy Creek Road in Lenoir was arrested Sunday (May 26) by Hudson Police Officers. She was charged with six felony counts of failing to appear. Russell failed to appear on felony counts of fleeing to elude arrest, larceny, possession of stolen motor vehicle, breaking or entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and conspiracy. Mark Demski Obituary – A man was killed Monday evening when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree in Tower Lakes, according to Lake County authorities. The coroner’s office identified him Wednesday as Mark Demski, 56, of Lake Barrington. Authorities said Demski was riding his Harley east on Roberts Road at around 6:15 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve just west of the North Paddock Lane intersection. He was charged with felony possession of a stolen firearm and felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine.
