CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Medic has reached an agreement to temporarily extend its contract with the Charlotte Fire Department.  The Mecklenburg County ambulance service announced Tuesday that it’s extending the agreement for six months through a memorandum of understanding. NORTH CAROLINA (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Governor Stein announced Tuesday an executive order temporarily waiving federal limits on the amount of time drivers transporting propane and other heating fuels can be on the road.
