Peel police are investigating the death of a man who took his own life on Thursday, January 8, 2025, in Mississauga, Ontario. The incident prompted significant road closures in the area of Cawthra Road and Dundas Street East. Two people are dead, and a suspect is in custody following a shooting in Armstrong County Wednesday morning. According to a criminal complaint, Kittanning police were called to the scene along the 100 block of Shaffer Lane in Washington Township around 2:40 a.m. for reports of a shooting that resulted in two casualties.
