OLIN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An Iredell County rest stop will likely be closed for more than 24 hours due to a water leak.  According to the N.C. Department of Transportation, the affected facility is in the median of Interstate 77 at mile marker 58, north of Statesville. The closure began at noon Wednesday and is expected to last until 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9.  There’s not another rest stop heading southbound on I-77 until drivers reach South Carolina.
