According to the National Weather Service, where its snowing, accumulations will happen quickly due to very cold ground temperatures, and the snow and ice will stick and freeze. “There will be enough snow and ice accumulations to result in hazardous travel conditions through at least Saturday morning, and longer where heavier accumulations occur,” NWS said.
