Miami-Dade Fire Rescue battled a house fire in Northwest Miami-Dade. The fire happened near Northwest 19th Avenue and 58th Street in Liberty City. MDFR and Miami-Dade Police were on the scene as smoke rose from the roof of the house. Authorities said a woman carrying a dog on her shoulders safely got out of the house. She stated she was the only occupant inside the house. Investigators said the fire may have started in the bedroom. No injuries have been reported.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Human remains have been found inside of a wastewater lift station near Ennis Joslin at Lexington and Holly Road, CCPD confirmed to 3NEWS. According to CCPD Senior Officer Antonio Contreras, police responded at 3:31 p.m. after a City water employee found human remains in a wastewater collection point. The collection point, which is around 40 feet deep, was full of wastewater and had to be drained safely before CCFD crews could attempt to retrieve the remains.
