Jacoby Willis, a 46-year-old from Dallas, was engaged in conversation with an individual at a residence on Bethany Street when multiple gunshots were heard by a family member. Upon investigation, it was found that Willis had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was unresponsive. Reports indicate that Devin Ratliff, aged 40, was traveling at high speed on his motorcycle heading south on 82nd Avenue when he collided with the driver’s side of a Honda CRV attempting to make a turn onto Southeast Mitchell Street. SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole has announced they have granted a hearing to death row convict Taberon Honie over whether or not his sentence should be commuted to life in prison. One person was airlifted to the hospital after they were injured in a shooting at a shopping plaza in Margate, leading police to take one person into custody. Margate Police units responded to the the scene along the 6500 block of West Atlantic Boulevard, at around 5 p.m., Friday. The victim was flown to Broward Health North with a gunshot wound. As of Friday night, the patient’s condition is unknown. Police said they have detained a suspect. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation.

Four people were killed and at least nine others injured after a minivan crashed into a store in New York. The Long Island incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 28 in Suffolk County in the hamlet of Deer Park. Police in one Ocean County town are investigating the shooting death of a 25-year-old woman on Thursday, June 27, authorities said. Officers responding to a 9-1-1 call found the woman on Ridgeway Road and Hope Chapel Road with a gunshot wound to her stomach just before 5 p.m., Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
