CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 48-year-old woman is dead after being hit by a car early Monday morning in north Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Around 6:50 a.m. on Jan. 6, officers responded to the 4500 block of Reagan Drive about a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. When they arrived, they found 48-year-old Petrina Ann Williams lying on the ground. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died, officials said.
