Armando Cruz Lorenzo Obituary, Death; – Des Moines authorities have confirmed the identity of the 25-year-old individual who was fatally shot on Friday in Des Moines. According to a news release from the Des Moines Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Maury Street following reports of gunfire around 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Armando Cruz Lorenzo, a resident of Des Moines, suffering from a gunshot wound. Cruz Lorenzo was pronounced dead at the scene, and law enforcement is treating the incident as a homicide.
