Kevin Harris Obituary – The Wilmington police have identified Kevin Harris, a 49-year-old man who was fatally shot early Thursday. According to the police, Harris was shot around 1:05 a.m. in the 900 block of Lombard St. Although responding officers found him, he succumbed to his injuries. Harris is the ninth person to have been killed by gunfire in Wilmington this year. Gustavo Estrada-Pacheco Obituary – The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal crash near Mount Rose Highway and Thomas Creek Road as 19-year-old Gustavo Estrada-Pacheco of Sun Valley. The crash occurred on the night of Friday, June 28th, and Estrada-Pacheco was pronounced dead at the scene. SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The alleged gunman in a Salt Lake City shooting that injured two people on the Fourth of July has been arrested, according to police. Jose Jimenez-Mancilla, 22, was booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail on six counts of felony discharge of a firearm and two counts of aggravated assault. Police said Jimenez-Mancilla got into a physical fight with two men at a Salt Lake City apartment complex near 300 West and 1700 South. The family has asked that the boy not be identified, however, his grandfather reached out to Nexstar’s KFOR and sent photos to warn others of the danger. A Fourth of July celebration turned tragic when a woman was critically injured by a stray bullet while watching fireworks in Homestead. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the vicinity of Northwest Ninth Avenue and Northwest Fourth Street. The victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to her shoulder, was immediately transported to Homestead Hospital. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was later airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center for further treatment. A Ford F-150 came down a street “at a high rate of speed” shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday.
