Dae S. Hwang Obituary,  – The Washington State Patrol has identified the 79-year-old pedestrian who was hit and killed in south Pierce County near McKenna last week. Dae S. Hwang of Roy was walking in an unknown direction along eastbound state Route 702 at 40th Avenue South around 7:20 a.m. on July 18, as reported by the State Patrol. She attempted to cross the highway and was struck by a 30-year-old male driver from Rainier who was driving a truck. Hwang tragically died at the scene. The road was blocked for over three hours during the investigation, according to troopers.

Lavania Finley Obituary, – The 66-year-old man from Washington, Texas, tragically lost his life after his ATV collided with a tree in a rural area of Washington County. Lavania Finley was identified as the victim by DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz, who confirmed that the incident occurred around 7:27 p.m. on Sunday. Finley was operating a 2009 Honda TRX ATV on Sweed Road when he experienced a cardiac incident, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a tree and a post.

Jenny Halldorson Obituary, – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified two individuals involved in a motorcycle collision with a deer. The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, on Pembina County Road 4, approximately 4 miles east of Bathgate. Troopers reported that a deer emerged from the ditch, and the motorcycle driver, 43-year-old Robert Winkler of Cavalier, was unable to avoid it, resulting in a collision with the deer. TaVaughn LaMarr Combs Obituary,  – The individual who was killed in Minneapolis on Friday has been identified as TaVaughn LaMarr Combs, a 46-year-old.
