OAKMONT, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating a case involving a vehicle discovered submerged in the Allegheny River near California Avenue. The incident was reported to County 9-1-1 at 5:15 PM on July 21. Following the report, first responders immediately called for a dive team to inspect the vehicle.
