CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A family is displaced after a fire erupted at a home in east Charlotte. Firefighters were called to the 6300 block of Kelsey Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. Crews arrived on the scene and noticed smoke coming from the home. Fortunately, the home had working smoke detectors, and the occupants evacuated safely.
