At approximately 9:23 a.m., first responders from Greensboro Police, Greensboro Fire, and Guilford County EMS were dispatched to a reported stabbing and gunshot wound incident at 2939 W. Vandalia Road. Upon arrival, authorities located 25-year-old Darius Deshaud Goolsby in a breezeway, suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were initiated, and Goolsby was transported to a local hospital. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. His next of kin have been notified.
