Aubrey Khalil Hayes-Reed, aged 26, succumbed to his injuries before 9 p.m. at the Shoot Smart Gun Range located in the northern part of Fort Worth, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The report did not specify the cause or manner of death. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, witnesses reported that Hayes-Reed experienced a malfunction with his firearm while trying to clear it, resulting in a discharge that struck him in the forehead.
