Ashley Bard Obituary, Death Cause – An accident that took place on Wednesday in Grout Township is responsible for the deaths of both a man and a woman, as stated by the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office.
In Gladwin County, two people were killed when the vehicle they were traveling in slid off the road and into a ditch.
At 10:49 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report that an accident had taken place at the intersection of Calhoun Road and Grout Road. As a result, officers were dispatched to the location in order to investigate the incident.
The sheriff’s office claimed that a man who was 42 years old and a woman who was 33 years old, both from Beaverton, were driving a 2009 Escalade westbound on Calhoun Road “where it entered into the north ditch at a high rate of speed, ultimately overturning several times.” Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
When the car flipped over, both the guy and the female passenger were ejected from the vehicle.
“Moments after the crash, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, traveling westbound on Calhoun Rd, occupied by another male (23) and female (21), struck the Escalade, while it was overturned on the shoulder of Calhoun Rd,” the sheriff’s office said. “Moments after the crash, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, traveling westbound on Calhoun Rd,” “Moments after the crash, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, traveling westbound on Calhoun Rd, was occupied by another male (23) and female (21).”
The two passengers who were traveling in the Cadillac Escalade were both pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident by the emergency medical technicians who responded to the incident. Both of the people in the Silverado, the driver and the passenger, walked away from the incident unscathed.
