Art Carle Death – Friends from the Lower School who have suffered a loss: After a long and fruitful life that he shared with his family, Art Carle died away this morning. He had worked hard throughout his life. There were many events and accomplishments that he had during his life. Art Carle was a humanities educator at Lexington High School for a number of decades, in addition to teaching it during the summer humanities seminar that was held at Southern Louisiana University. He was also a professor at SLU.
Mr. Carle, who was well-known for his ability to offer the general public with access to the art, history, and philosophy of bygone eras, extended an invitation to all of his “scholars” to “pack their bags and journey with him” to some of the most significant moments in the history of world civilization. It was because he was able to make these things accessible to the general people that he was able to accomplish this successfully.
We were able to pun our way through the Middle Ages while simultaneously saying “Serfs up!” In addition to obtaining an understanding of the significance of the Romans’ utilization of concrete in their architectural designs, we were also able to pun our way through the process. The appreciation for art and architecture that my father instilled in me is something that I continue to cherish to this day at this point in time. Out of all the things that I have learnt, the ones that I actually put into practice on a daily basis are the ones that are related to the realm of the humanities. You, Art Carle, are a very generosity-minded individual! I hope that you are able to discover the peace that surpasses all understanding and that you have a prosperous journey in the years to come.
