The principal of Lansing, Michigan’s Cole Academy Charter Elementary School, which serves grades K–6, is Mrs. Annie Jasonowicz. Several of Mrs. Jasonowicz’s former pupils were shocked to learn of her passing and took to social media to express their grief. Mrs. Jasonowicz was a devoted, disciplined, yet moral and compassionate teacher.
Because of what she accomplished both inside and outside of the classroom, her students regarded her as one of their all-time greatest instructors! Like everyone else, Mrs. Annie Jasonowicz did not begin her life as an outstanding school principal; rather, she came from modest origins.
She was their little girl when she was born in East Lansing, Michigan, and they loved her to pieces. Annie went to Lansing Catholic High School, where she was essentially an exceptional student. She attended Western Michigan University to pursue a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) because she wanted to serve people and share information. Shortly after, she began her job.
Annie was an amazing educator who cared about her students’ needs and desires and developed relationships with them that let her reach them in ways that other educators would not have been able to. She had a reputation for maintaining contact with her pupils even after they had graduated.
She taught elementary school for a while before attending Central Michigan University to pursue a Master of Arts in Educational Administration. At the time of her sudden death, she was employed as Cole Academy’s elementary principal.

A Facebook user bemoaned, “Beyond lost for words forever our favorite teacher.”
Annie Jasonowicz was a remarkable woman, and her untimely death has devastated her friends, family, loved ones, and former students. Her legacy would live on in the words of the people she touched and the way they remember her for all time. Peace be with her as she rests.
