A Tennessee family is mourning the tragic death of a dedicated Officer and Lieutenant who passed away unexpectedly this week. LT. Andrew “Andy” Maliskas died this week following a medical emergency, the Bartlett Police Department announced.
Andy was a husband to Macayla Maliskas, a son, brother, great teammate, and a leader. The cause of Andy’s cause of death was not immediately released by the family. Prayers have been called for the Maliskas family advice they mourn the sudden demise of their son.
“It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of Lieutenant Andy Maliskas. Lieutenant Maliskas was a valued team member who’s leadership and knowledge contributed to the overall success of our department. Lieutenant Maliskas brought kindness and warmth to the workplace and he will be deeply missed,” Bartlett, TN Police Department wrote in Facebook.
