A Holly Springs spokesman reported that a motorcyclist lost his life Thursday after being engaged in an accident with a vehicle. The crash happened at Green Oaks Parkway on southbound NC 55 shortly before 3:45 p.m.
Officers and firefighters in Holly Springs discovered the rider seriously injured and promptly started life-saving procedures. Before Wake County EMS came, a number of bystanders paused to provide assistance.
The biker passed away from his wounds in spite of such efforts. He was identified by the police as Fuquay-Varina resident Andrew Tyler Dudley, 39.
