Anand Kamlesh Obituary, Death;- The Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Department has confirmed the identity of the individual involved in a fatal auto-pedestrian incident that occurred on the evening of February 7. The deceased has been identified as 82-year-old Anand Kamlesh, a resident of Utah.
Kamlesh was struck and killed at approximately 6:50 p.m. at an intersection in Santa Clara. Emergency services responded to reports of the accident at the junction of Pioneer Parkway and Jacob Drive. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Kamlesh, who had been hit by a vehicle. She was subsequently transported to St. George Regional Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement officials. In a statement, the Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Department expressed, “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Ms. Kamlesh, as well as to all those affected by this heartbreaking loss. Tragedies like this deeply affect our entire community, and our thoughts are with everyone mourning at this time.”
