The Gwinnett County Police Department has reported that the suspect, 26-year-old Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres from Duluth, remains unaccounted for. The victim, who was fatally injured at an apartment on Hunters Club Lane last Friday, has been identified as 24-year-old Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez of Norcross. Torres is facing multiple charges, including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony.

Juan Madiedo of Gwinnett Police, “She was suffering from at least one stab wound.” The investigation is still in its early stages, but preliminary findings suggest a domestic-related incident involving the deceased and a known resident of the apartment at some point.
