Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez Obituary, Death; – Gwinnett County authorities have identified a murder suspect who is currently at large, as well as the victim involved in a stabbing incident that occurred last week outside the city limits of Norcross.
The Gwinnett County Police Department has reported that the suspect, 26-year-old Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres from Duluth, remains unaccounted for. The victim, who was fatally injured at an apartment on Hunters Club Lane last Friday, has been identified as 24-year-old Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez of Norcross. Torres is facing multiple charges, including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony.

On Friday, law enforcement responded to the apartment complex around 6 p.m. in the 1200 block of Hunters Club Lane, where they discovered Hernandez deceased at the scene.

Juan Madiedo of Gwinnett Police, “She was suffering from at least one stab wound.” The investigation is still in its early stages, but preliminary findings suggest a domestic-related incident involving the deceased and a known resident of the apartment at some point.
