Amie Gray Obituary – Nasen Saadi, aged 20, hailing from Croydon, was scheduled to make an appearance at Poole Magistrates Court today, facing charges related to the murder of Amie Gray on a beach in Bournemouth on May 24.
Dorset Police have accused Saadi of the murder of Gray and the attempted murder of another woman on Durley Chine beach. Saadi was apprehended in London on Wednesday and was conveyed to Bournemouth yesterday for questioning by specialized detectives.
The other woman who was assaulted is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. A teenager who was taken into custody on the night of the incident was subsequently released without any charges. Detective Superintendent Richard Dixey stated: “Our condolences are with the family and friends of Amie Gray, as well as the woman who sustained serious injuries, and they have been informed about this recent development in our investigation.
“This case has been thoroughly investigated and we have now sought advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, which has approved the charges of murder and attempted murder. “This means that the case will now proceed to court and it is crucial that the legal process is allowed to run its course. “It is also imperative to emphasize that there should be no further discussion or dissemination of information online or on social media that could potentially influence these court proceedings.”.
