Ames Stabbing Investigations: The Ames Police Department says it is investigating a stabbing that injured three persons Friday night in the 3700 block of Tripp Street. Officers were notified of the stabbings at 5:30 p.m. and arrived to find a “crime scene in the street.”
Two people discovered near the scene were taken to Mary Greeley Medical Centre, while a third arrived by private vehicle. The victims’ status is unknown at this time, although one has been taken to MercyOne Medical Centre in Des Moines. Authorities said the suspect is still at large.
