Amber N. Joy Obituary, – The State Police of New York reported that an individual lost their life in a tragic accident involving a vehicle early on Tuesday morning. Troopers were dispatched to State Highway 7 in Oneonta at approximately 5 a.m. after receiving reports of the pedestrian being hit.
The victim has been identified as Amber N. Joy, a 40-year-old resident of Oneonta. As of Tuesday afternoon, the authorities are still investigating the incident, and the driver of the vehicle is said to be cooperating with the investigation. A portion of State Route 7 was temporarily closed while emergency crews attended to the scene. The road was reopened at around 9:30 a.m.
