ENFIELD, Connecticut – Amanda Santiago, 27, of Springfield, Massachusetts, died in a horrific motorcycle accident on Somers Road on Friday afternoon, according to Enfield police.
When Santiago was riding along on a motorcycle, there was a collision with another car at around 1:20 p.m. Santiago was sent to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford and eventually declared dead in spite of medical interventions.
The motorcycle’s driver, Jose Del Rosario Collazo Jr., a 31-year-old Massachusetts resident, was taken to the hospital for medical attention after suffering significant injuries. His present state of health is unknown.
