Amanda Quinlan Obituary; Tribute To A Mother Who Passed Away From Cancer Milford, NH: On June 7, 2024, Amanda J. Quinlan, 47, of Amherst, New Hampshire, passed away at home in the company of her devoted family following a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on June 21, 1976, in Norwalk, Ohio, the daughter of Susan E. (Eggleston) Tyler and John R. Tyler.Born and reared in Ohio, Amanda attended St. Paul High School before earning her diploma in 1994. Amanda attended English Nanny School after graduating from high school.
As an employed nanny, Amanda cherished and dedicated her time to tending to ‘her’ kids. Many of these kids grew up to be adults, and she stayed connected with them. She traveled to Watertown, Massachusetts, in the east, where she eventually met Robert Quinlan. The two would be married, then go to Amherst, where they
have been for the past eleven years.As a passionate traveler, Amanda visited Greece, Monaco, Rome, and Paris. She also liked visiting Broadway productions in New York, such as Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, and Miss Saigon. She also had a strong passion for the Cleveland Browns and Boston Red Sox. Her parents, John and Susan of Norwalk, Ohio, two sisters, Brooke (James) Gfell of Norwalk, Ohio, and Erin Tyler (Hoyt Cruse) of Alexandria, Virginia, are among her survivors. Her devoted husband, Robert Quinlan, of Amherst, New Hampshire, and their two children, Elsie and George Quinlan, all of Amherst, New Hampshire, are also survivors. In addition to her brother Sean Tyler, Amanda was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert and Margaret (Heitz) Tyler, and her parents, Robert and Mary Ellen (Quilter) Eggleston.
SERVICES: In keeping with her preferences On Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM, there will be a Christian funeral liturgy at St. Christopher Catholic Church, located at 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH. Next up is burial in Nashua, New Hampshire’s Edgewood Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to gather in person on the morning of mass at the church.
