Amanda Quinlan Nashua New Hampshire Obituary, woman died after battle with cancer: Amanda J. Quinlan, 47, a resident of Amherst, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on June 7, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 21, 1976, in Norwalk, OH, to John R. and Susan E. (Eggleston) Tyler.
Amanda grew up in Ohio, graduating from St. Paul High School in 1994. She then attended English Nanny School, dedicating her career to caring for children as a professional nanny, forming lasting bonds with many of them as they grew into adulthood. Her journey eventually brought her to Watertown, MA, where she met and married Robert Quinlan. The couple later moved to Amherst, NH, where they have lived for the past eleven years.
A passionate traveler, Amanda explored destinations such as Paris, Rome, Monaco, and Greece. She also enjoyed attending Broadway shows, including *Miss Saigon*, *Little Shop of Horrors*, and *Les Misérables* in New York. Amanda was an enthusiastic fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Browns.
Amanda is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Quinlan, and their two children, Elsie and George Quinlan, all of Amherst, NH. She also leaves behind her parents, John and Susan Tyler of Norwalk, OH; two sisters, Brooke (James) Gfell of Norwalk, OH, and Erin Tyler (Hoyt Cruse) of Alexandria, VA. Amanda was predeceased by her brother, Sean Tyler, and her grandparents, Robert and Margaret (Heitz) Tyler, as well as Robert and Mary Ellen (Quilter) Eggleston.
SERVICES: As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, NH. All are invited to meet directly at the church on the morning of the Mass.
