Tragedy struck Alice, Texas, on November 6, 2024, when a shooting occurred on the 1000 block of N. Wright Street.
At 1:00 a.m., Alice Police Department officers responded to emergency calls reporting gunfire. Upon arrival, they found three victims: one male in the driveway and two others (a male and female) inside the home, all with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victims were rushed to Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi. Unfortunately, Kirsten Saenz succumbed to her injuries at 3:05 a.m.
The two male victims remain in critical condition.
Matthew Garcia, 30, of Alice, Texas, is wanted on charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The Alice Police Department is conducting an intensive manhunt and urges anyone with information to contact them immediately.
The investigation is ongoing, with officers gathering evidence and witness statements.
