The victim was identified as Aliana Ciacciarelli, aged 25, according to a statement released by the police.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. near 140 Pleasant View Avenue, where a southbound tractor-trailer hit the woman, the authorities stated. As of Tuesday morning, the truck and its driver remain unidentified. Law enforcement officials are seeking a light-colored day cab/tractor-trailer combination that was spotted in the vicinity.
