Alexander Babb Obituary, – On Monday, July 8, a fatal crash occurred in McCracken County involving a car and a motorcyclist. The incident took place at approximately 2 p.m. on the 1900 block of Gholson Road. Alexander Babb, a 30-year-old resident of La Center, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound when he collided with a car exiting a driveway.
Babb sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the car, identified as 19-year-old Lucy Turnbo from Paducah, did not sustain any injuries. Emergency response teams from Mercy Regional Ambulance, Concord Fire Department, McCracken County DES, and Larry Stovesand Towing provided assistance at the scene alongside the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
