Alex White Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday, the Round Rock Police Department announced the identification of a woman who lost her life in a 10-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 that occurred on Monday. The incident also resulted in injuries to three additional individuals, as reported by the police.
The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Alex White from Fort Cavazos, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities responded to the multi-vehicle collision on I-35 near RM 620 at approximately 11:40 a.m. The crash, which involved a dump truck, led to the closure of both northbound and southbound lanes for about six hours, according to a news release from the department.
As per police reports, a northbound vehicle executed a sudden lane change, colliding with another vehicle and prompting several drivers to take evasive measures.
“This chain reaction resulted in the dump truck crossing the concrete median and impacting southbound traffic,” the police stated. Three individuals were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries, according to the authorities.
