Alejandra Gomez Rodriguez Obituary, Death; – The individual who tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 90 on Thursday afternoon has been named as Alejandra Gomez Rodriguez, a 23-year-old resident of Kennewick.
Gomez Rodriguez succumbed to her injuries when her 2006 Kia Rio veered off I-90, approximately 15 miles east of Kittitas.
Two occupants of the vehicle, a 14-year-old female and a 26-year-old male, both hailing from Seattle, were fortunate to escape without injuries in the incident. The accident was reported at 3:54 p.m. on February 13.
The Washington State Patrol initially refrained from disclosing the identity of the deceased driver, pending notification of her next of kin. On Friday evening, the State Patrol confirmed Gomez Rodriguez as the driver of the sedan. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing as of late Friday.
