Alan Joseph Faulkner Death – The individual who was struck and fatally injured by a train on Monday night in the southwest area of Fort Wayne has been identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Office as a 41-year-old man named Alan Joseph Faulkner.
Following a thorough examination, Faulkner’s death has been determined to be an accident, resulting from blunt-force injuries. His body was discovered in close proximity to W. Hamilton Road, just north of Grand Station Drive, at approximately 10 p.m.
Sgt. Adam Griffith, the public information officer for the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, has stated that there are currently no indications of any foul play involved in this tragic incident.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing and being conducted jointly by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Norfolk Southern Railway Police Department, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
