Akil Drake Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost his life in the explosion at Realty Tower in downtown Youngstown on Tuesday has been identified as Akil Drake, aged 27, as confirmed by the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office today.
His body was found late in the evening on Tuesday, following the explosion that took place just before 3 p.m. An autopsy is scheduled to take place at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office. The building, located at 47 E. Federal St., housed a Chase Bank branch on the ground floor, where the explosion originated. The upper levels of the 13-story building consist of apartments and condominiums. The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
