Akeem Broadway Death – Little Rock police have identified the individual who passed away following a shooting incident at the Big Country Chateau apartment complex on Tuesday night. Officials from the Little Rock Police Department confirmed that Akeem Broadway, aged 32, succumbed to gunshot wounds at a local hospital.
Upon receiving reports of the shooting at approximately 7:40 p.m., patrol officers discovered Broadway with gunshot injuries. Medical personnel transported him to the hospital, where he later died. Broadway’s body was transferred to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy by the Pulaski County Coroner.
Homicide detectives and the Crime Scene Search unit initiated an investigation at the scene of the shooting, gathering surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.
Images of a suspect involved in the shooting were released by Little Rock police on Wednesday. The suspect appeared to be wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark pants in the images.
Authorities have stated that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, urging anyone with information to contact the Major Crimes Division of the Little Rock Police Department.
